I stood there for most of the day, Bella right beside me. We couldn't think, didn't know what was happening, all we could do was wait...

Bella looked out into the forest, arms crossed, unmoving. It was getting dark, and she knew she should be getting back home to Charlie. But she didn't want to leave until she knew that the people she cared about were safe.
A cold wind began to blow then, making a hollow, whistling sound through the trees. It wrapped itself around Bella, and made her shivver. Not from the cold...Edward was much colder than that...but from the way it slid down her spine, and made her feel empty. She closed her eyes, and opened them again, as if doing so would make him appear. "Edward..." she whispered softly to herself.

Rose was no longer worried...she was pissed! Who did they think they were not answering her phone calls and worrying Bella like this...humans are so fragile.

Bella began to pace back and forth across the porch, arms crossedd across her stomach. She stopped, and sat on one of the wooden chairs on the porch. Bella pulled her legs up beneath her, and wrapped her arms around them. She closed her eyes, so she didnt have to look at anyone, and no one would see the way her eyes gleamed with her unshed tears of worry.
