It was raining, the usual for Forks. Edward walked slowly through the park, hands in pockets, observing. The raindrops splatted against the darkening sidewalk, forming tiny puddles in random places. The concrete path he was on curved around evergreen trunks and the occasional maple, creating an interesting labrynth.
The sky was becoming more shadowed. The thunder must be on its way, Edward thought, with interest. Perhaps there will be lightning? he finished. He continued his long, wet walk through the impending storm.

"Edward?" Alice asked as she rounded around a bend and approached him. "Whats wrong, you don't normally walk alone." She walked up to him and gave him a gentle hug and continued to walk along side him. "I saw you were here and alone. I assumed something was wrong so I came quickly" She said knowing he knew what I was going to say and could probably hear my thoughts prier to my arrival. Being shorter then he I had to look up to see his face and in doing so a few drops of rain splashed in my eyes, then down my cheeks making it look as though I had been crying even though I wasn't.

Edward stopped short, and turned to face Alice, taken by surprise by her sudden appearance. "Did you teleport here, or what?" he asked.

"Don't tell you you forgot us Vampires run fast" She teased walking gracfully over to Edward's side. "Where's Bella, She hardly leaves your side?" Alice ask carefully not to irritate him in case something between them happend.

Edward shook his head. "No, Bella's busy today. Work, remember?" he replied. A suspicion crossed Alice's mind, and Edward widened his eyes. "No, no, nothing happened between us! Remember your vision of how Bella would become part of our family? She still will be, since you did not mention any different vision of her future..." he rushed the words out. "Did you?" he tacked on, worried.
